This will include a thorough examination of your teeth and gums to ensure the best possible smile – as well as a periodontal assessment and monitoring of all previously completed dental work. The dentist will also complete a comprehensive health check and screening of all oral tissue to assess for any indications of diseases or cancer.
Dental radiographs allow the dentist to assess for cavities between the teeth as well as all other aspects to do with the mouth and jaw – including sinuses, wisdom teeth and bone health. In addition, intraoral photos allow the dentist to maintain a thorough record of your dental progress as well as providing a high resolution view so that the patient is able to see what the dentist is seeing.
This involves a discussion of future treatment options in conjunction with your oral health requirements. Discussions include benefits and risks of treatment options as well as costs associated. Treatment planning will be developed to ensure the patient is happy and confident with their smile as well as providing optimal functionality and results.
At our practice, cleaning involves the use of an ultrasonic technology which allows rapid and effective removal of all calculus and build-up on all teeth surfaces.
